BIOGRAPHY::
Dr. Dipawita Thakur is working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Engineering, Modeling, Electronics, and Systems (DIMES) at University of Calabria since July 2023. She is a working group member of the European Cooperation in Science & Technology in the domain of Optimal Security approaches and their impact on the user and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Working Group member of IEEE Future Networks.
Prior to this, she was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Banasthali University, Rajasthan, for 15 years. She also worked as a Technical Support Engineer in TechMahindra, India, and Project Tranee at the Centre for Development of Advance Computing (C-DAC), India.
She received her Ph.D. from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, India. Her primary research interests are in the domain of Federated Learning in Greean-Aware AI, Smart healthcare using Machine Learning, specifically Performance Evaluation of Human Activity Recognition Systems. She is the author of many scholarly research papers, including reputed journal papers, in the above mentioned areas.
